1- Use homemade tanning lotion. Begin by preparing your black tea. To make black tea simply put one teaspoon of tea leaves into the kettle, pour 1 cup of boiling water over the tea leaves, steep for five minutes, strain and allow your tea to cool down. Mix your tea with one teaspoon of emu oil, 2-3 drops of tea tree essential oil, and two tablespoons of aloe vera gel in a blender until a homogeneous paste is obtained. Apply this tanning mixture onto your skin. Let it sit on your skin for about 15 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water. Do it several times a week. To collect aloe vera gel from plant, simply use a knife to split the leaf lengthwise and scrape out the translucent liquid contained inside.

Apply this mixture onto your skin right before exposing yourself to the sun or while tanning, to tan quickly and safely, requiring only minimal exposure to sunlight.

Emu Oil should be stored at room temperature, as it becomes thick or grainy from cooler temperatures.

3- Mix one cup of fresh carrot juice with 2 cups of rose water in a blender until a homogeneous paste is obtained. Apply this mixture onto your skin right before exposing yourself to the sun.

4- Mix one cup of carrot juice with a few drops of coconut oil until you create a smooth mixture. Apply this mixture on clean skin before you expose yourself to the sun to get a smooth tan. Keep the mixture in a glass jar and store in fridge.

Some foods that are rich in melanin include dairy, fish, eggs, ginger, oats, sweet corn, hummus (cooked, mashed chickpeas), rice, barley, tomatoes, cherries, bananas, and dark leafy greens, such as spinach, kale, arugula, mustard greens, collard greens, romaine, and microgreens.

7- Eat foods high in tyrosine, like poultry, fish, meat, spirulina, soy foods, eggs, milk, cheese, yogurt, almonds, bananas, avocados, peanuts, lima beans, sesame seeds, and pumpkin seeds. Alternatively, take 1,000-1,500 mg of L-Tyrosine per day for 10-14 days as a supplement, as it can help the body tan naturally, requiring only minimal exposure to natural sunlight.

Mix a quarter cup of cocoa powder with one tablespoon of olive oil, one teaspoon of vaseline, one teaspoon of Vitamin E oil and one teaspoon of Glycerin in a blender until a smooth paste is obtained. Apply this mixture to your skin. Let it sit on your skin for about 20 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water. Do it several times a week.

21- Use tea and chocolate to get a tan quickly. Steep 3-4 bags of black tea in two cups of boiling water for 10-15 min. As the tea brews, mix 1/3 cup of raw cocoa powder with 1/2 cup of cocoa butter in a blender until a smooth paste is obtained. Mix one cup of the steeped black tea with 1/2 cup of coconut or sesame oil and then add it to this blender. Blend until a homogeneous paste is obtained and after that add the remaining tea and blend till smooth. Apply this mixture to your skin. Let it sit on your skin for about 15 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water. Do it several times a week.
