The Banana (бананы, الموز) is an edible tropical fruit produced by several kinds of cultivated flowering plants in the genus Banana (Musa). Botanically a banana is a berry.

The banana is the most popular tropical fruit worldwide due to its outstanding taste and nutritional profile, as it is an excellent source of thiamine, potassium, manganese, biotin, vitamin C, dietary soluble fiber and copper.

Several types of bananas are available, including red bananas that have a pinkish yellow skin and flesh, and the small 3 inches long sugar bananas.
