Astaxanthin

Astaxanthin a product of Haemaroccous Pluvialis, “a microalgae popular on rocky shores,” the way the algae produces astaxanthin is similar to the way your skin cells produce melanin in response to UV from sun exposure.

The astaxanthin, just like melanin, is actually the part that gives salmon that eat the herb their orange color besides it protects the algae against excess ultraviolet radiation when the algae’s water supply dries up so it’s a sort of feed source or depot to protect the algae from lack of nutrition and of being burned under intense sunlight by working as an internal sunscreen!

Lab tests proved that taking 5 mg per day for just two weeks increased the amount of time people could stay in the sun without getting burned, yet there are a lot of unique individual factors involved in the ability to fight sunburns, the recommended dose is 5-8 mg / day for 4 weeks to build up protection levels enough to resist against harmful ultraviolet radiation “UV rays”. Aside being a mighty UV screen protector, it also plays a major role as:

–          A filter that will surely boost athletic performance

–          A shield that will decrease inflammation.

Astaxanthin helps athletes to get rid off free radical damage from prolonged and intense training. you will be fascinated on how quickly your body will recover from side effects of a workout giving you stress. Be sure that astaxanthin work wonders in this domain simply because it’s an incredibly strong antioxidant; a fighter in his kind that helps combat those bad free radicals eliminating them with the oxidative stress allowing your body to recover much faster. This results in faster strength and endurance gains.

Training athletes typically use up to 10 mg/day of Astaxanthin products to saturate the body effectively.

Astaxanthin is very potent in fighting many health conditions like the tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, and arthritis with its relief capabilities in just few weeks of consumption “between 4-6 weeks”. Thus proving itself to be a far better option than many more expensive & potentially toxic anti- inflammatory medicaments.

If you suffer of arthritis or of any other inflammatory condition, you still need to diagnose causes which in many cases can be tied to your diet and once again of eating too many sugars; side by side you should consume saturated fats rich in omega-3/omega-6.

Absorption rate of astaxanthin can vary from person to person thus the dietary doses to enjoy full health ranges between 2 -13 mg/day, depending on your bodies carotenoids absorption potential that also may range from as high as 90% till a low figure of 4%; not to forget astaxanthin is a fat soluble supplement thus it will not absorb in our bodies without a minor amount of fat like “Butter, eggs or coconut oil”.

Astaxanthin a powerful antioxidant molecule of the same family as beta carotene and other similar carotenoids like lycopene and lutein, but because of its shape this molecule can perform and has a very different and potent abilities/potentials.

Salmon a good source of astaxanthin with no negative oxidative effects, supplement capsules are a great option to fully enjoy the healthy powers of this nutrient; a 3mg capsule can give you the same effects as those delivered by eating about three quarter pounds of salmon fish.

Start astaxanthin diets with a 2 mg / day dosage and work your way up to about 6 mg/ day or more if you’re an athlete or suffering from chronic inflammation. Krill oil is also a super option for receiving this high heel antioxidant, plus a good dosages of omega 3 and omega 6 fats with your telephone and advice service DHAs & Educational Planning and Assessment System EPAs.
